Daily Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father,

Today I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. I thank You for Your faithfulness and for the countless blessings You have bestowed upon me.

I ask that You guide me in all that I do, and give me the strength to overcome any obstacles that may come my way. I pray for wisdom and discernment as I navigate through this day.

I lift up those who are in need of Your healing and comfort, and ask that You bring peace and restoration to their lives. I also pray for those who do not yet know You, that they may come to know Your love and salvation through Your Son Jesus Christ.

Help me to walk in Your ways and to always be mindful of Your presence in my life. May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to You. I trust in You and give You all the glory.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Short Prayer for Healing and Recovery

Dear Lord,

We lift up to You our friend who is in need of healing and recovery. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing power, and restore them to full health. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, and believe that nothing is impossible for You.

We ask that You would also bring peace and comfort to their mind and spirit during this difficult time. We pray that You would be glorified in their healing, and that they would see You as their loving and faithful Healer.

Prayer of a Woman

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in humility, acknowledging Your sovereignty and grace. You are my source of strength and my refuge, and I trust in You completely.

I ask for Your guidance and wisdom in all aspects of my life, as I strive to fulfill Your will and to live a life that is pleasing to You.

I pray for Your protection over my family, and for Your provision for all of our needs. I implore Your comfort and peace in times of adversity, and for Your joy and blessings in times of abundance.

I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness, as well as the strength to resist temptation and to live a holy and righteous life, conforming to Your image.

I give You thanks, Lord, for all of Your blessings, and for the salvation that You have provided through Your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray that I may be a faithful witness to Your love and grace, and that I may bring glory to Your name in all that I do.

The Loss of a Loved One Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, as we have lost a beloved member of our family. Though their physical body has passed, we trust in the promise of eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ.

We humbly request Your comfort during this difficult time and ask that You grant us the strength and courage to face each day. We acknowledge that You are sovereign and that all things happen according to Your divine plan. Help us to trust in Your will and to find peace in Your sovereign purpose.

We give You thanks for the time we shared with our loved one and for the memories that will forever be treasured. We also give You thanks for the hope of eternal life and the promise of one day being reunited with our loved one in heaven through faith in Jesus Christ.

Prayer in the New Year

Heavenly Father,

As we enter into this new year, we come before You with humble hearts, giving You all the glory, honor, and praise. We give You thanks for Your faithfulness in the past and we trust in Your goodness and mercy for the future.

We confess that we have not always been faithful to You and we ask for Your forgiveness. Help us to grow in our relationship with You and to become more like Jesus.

We ask that You would give us wisdom and guidance as we make plans for the coming year. Help us to set priorities that are in line with Your will for our lives.

We ask for Your protection and provision for our families, friends, and loved ones. We pray for peace and unity in our homes and communities.

We pray for Your Church and for the spread of the gospel. We ask that You would raise up leaders and workers to reach the lost and make disciples.

We pray for our leaders, giving them the wisdom and courage to make decisions that will benefit the common good.

We thank You for Your love and grace, and for the hope that we have in You. We trust in You, Lord, and we know that You are in control.

Prayer Before Surgery

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a grateful heart, asking for Your protection and guidance as I undergo this surgery. I trust in Your loving care and ask that You would be with me every step of the way.

I ask for Your healing hand to be upon me, and for Your wisdom to guide the hands of the medical team. I pray that the surgery would be successful and that my recovery would be swift.

I know that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is too difficult for You. I trust in Your power and Your goodness, and I know that You are always with me.

Prayer About Losing a Loved One

Almighty and Everlasting God,

We come before You with heavy hearts, as we have lost a loved one. We profess our trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of our pain and sorrow.

Even in the midst of our grief, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and the perfection of Your will. Grant us the grace to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even when it is difficult for us to comprehend.

We humbly ask You to comfort and sustain those who are grieving, and to grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Grant them strength to face each day and hope for the future.

The Christmas Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We come before You on this holy day to give thanks for the birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We are filled with awe at Your love and grace, demonstrated through the gift of Your only begotten Son.

We are grateful for the sacrifice Jesus made for us, taking on the sins of the world and offering us the gift of salvation. The Evening Prayer

Heavenly Father,
