Prayer for a Husband

Dear Lord,

I lift up my husband to You today, asking that You would bless him and watch over him. May he know Your love and presence in a deep and personal way.

I pray that You would give him wisdom and discernment in all things, and that You would guide him in making decisions that are pleasing to You. May he be a man of integrity and honor, and may he serve You with all his heart.

I pray that You would protect him from temptation and danger, and that You would give him the strength and courage to resist any forces that seek to harm him. May he be a strong and courageous leader for our family, and may he always put You first in his life.

I pray that You would bless our marriage, and that You would help us to grow closer to You and to each other. May we support and encourage each other in all things, and may we be a blessing to those around us.

Thank You for my husband, and for the love and joy he brings to my life. I trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, and I know that You will work all things together for our good.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Prayer for Loss Loved One

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, as we have lost a loved one who was so dear to us. We trust in Your loving kindness and tender mercies, even in the midst of our sorrow.

We know that death is not the end, and that there is eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, we ask You to bring this truth to the mind and heart of our loved one, that they may come to know You and Your salvation.

We also pray for the comfort and support of those who are left behind. Lord, we ask that You would surround us with Your love and Your peace, that Your light would shine upon us and dispel the darkness of our grief. We ask that You would give us the courage to face each day with hope, and the comfort to know that You are with us in this difficult time.

We thank You for the time we had with our loved one, and for all the precious memories that we shared together. We pray that You would give us the strength to cherish those memories, and to pass them on to future generations.

As we grieve, we trust in Your promise that “neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
