A Prayer to a Friend

Dear Lord,

I lift up my dear friend to You today, asking that You would surround her with Your love and protection. Grant her strength for the day and peace for her mind. I pray that You would guide her in Your truth and enable her to make wise decisions. May she sense Your presence in her life and feel Your comfort and encouragement.

I pray that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way and that she would come to a deeper understanding of Your love for her. I ask that You would use this time in her life to bring her closer to You and to aid her growth in faith.

I pray that You would bless my friend’s relationships, her work, and her home, helping her to find joy and fulfillment in all that she does.

I trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, and I am confident that You will hear and answer this prayer.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Friendship

Heavenly Father,

We come to You in humility and gratitude, giving You thanks for the blessings of friendship. We know that in You, true friendship is founded on love, trust and mutual respect. We ask that You bless our current friendships, and bring new ones into our lives as You see fit.

We pray that You would guide us to be true friends, to one another and to others, always speaking truth in love, and showing kindness and compassion. We ask for the courage to forgive and to be forgiven, to accept and to be accepted, to serve and to be served, and to be patient with one another’s faults.

We ask You to lead us to friends who will challenge us to grow in our walk with You and who will encourage us to remain faithful to Your Word and Will. Help us to be a good influence on our friends, and to not be swayed by the ways of the world.

We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, and we know that You will always be with us, even when we feel alone.

We give You all the honor, glory, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him€”a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Prayer for Schools

Heavenly Father,

We lift up all of the schools in our community to You today. We pray for the teachers, administrators, and staff who work tirelessly to educate and guide our children. We pray for the students who are seeking knowledge and understanding, and for those who may be struggling in their studies.

We pray that Your love and presence would be felt in every classroom and that Your Word would be taught with grace and truth. We pray for protection and safety for all who are on school grounds, and for a spirit of unity and respect to prevail among all those who learn and work there.

We pray that these schools would be a beacon of light in our community and that they would reflect Your goodness and love to all who enter their doors. We pray that they would be a place where students can grow and flourish, both academically and spiritually.

We trust in You, Lord, and we know that You have a plan for each and every one of these schools. We pray that You would use them to bring about Your kingdom on earth and that You would be glorified in all that takes place within their walls.

This we pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
