Prayer for the Forgiveness of Sin

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today in humble repentance for my sins. I confess that I have not always lived according to Your will, and I have fallen short of Your glory. I have disobeyed Your commands and have not loved You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.

I have also not loved my neighbors as myself and have harmed them in thought, word and deed. I am truly sorry for my actions and for the hurt and pain that I have caused. I ask for Your forgiveness and grace.

I believe in Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. I put my trust in Him and His sacrifice for my salvation. I ask that You would come into my heart, forgive my sins, and give me the power to live for You.

I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and my Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Faith

Heavenly Father,

I come before Your throne of grace with a heart full of Faith. I humbly confess that sometimes my Faith wavers and I struggle to trust in Your goodness and Your unfailing love. But I know that You are the God of all comfort and You promised to never leave me nor forsake me.

I ask that You would increase my Faith, as You promised in Your word “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17) Help me to meditate on Your word daily, to read it attentively and to obey it without hesitation. Give me a hunger for Your word and open my heart to understand and apply it in my life.

I ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to guide me and empower me to be Your faithful servant. I pray for the wisdom to discern Your will for my life, and the courage to take bold steps of Faith, even when the outcome is uncertain.

I pray for the Grace to forgive as You have forgiven me, and the power to love as You love me. I lift up all the people around me who are in need of Your love and healing, and I ask that You would use me to be a reflection of Your love for them.

I thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son Jesus, and the promise of eternal life that I have through Him.

I ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Before Meal

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with grateful hearts. We thank You for this food and for the hands that prepared it. We recognize that all good things come from You and that You are the provider of all our needs.

We ask that You bless this food, making it nourishing to our bodies. In doing so, we may have the strength and energy to do Your will. We also ask that You bless those who are in need of a meal today. Provide for them as You have promised in Your Word.

We confess that we often take for granted the blessings You have given us. We ask for forgiveness for any times we have failed to give You the thanks and praise You deserve.

As we partake in this meal, we ask that it serves as a reminder of Your love and provision for us. May it also remind us to share Your love and provision with others.

We give You all the glory and honor, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Prayer of a Sinner

Heavenly Father,

I approach Your throne of grace with a humble and contrite heart, fully aware of my sin and unworthiness. I confess that I have strayed from Your holy path and have not lived in accordance with Your will. I have sinned against You, and have not loved You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

I implore Your forgiveness, O Lord Jesus, through Your death and resurrection, which I believe to be the only means of salvation for my sins. I ask for Your grace and mercy to cleanse me of my wrongdoing, and to renew my heart. I confess that I am not worthy of Your love, yet I trust in Your promise of eternal life through faith in You.

O Holy Spirit, I humbly seek Your guidance and strength to resist temptation and to live a life that is pleasing to God. Grant me the grace to love others as You have loved me, to be kind and compassionate, to forgive others as You have forgiven me, and to be a faithful witness of Your love and truth to those around me.

I pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
