Prayer for Forgiveness of Sins

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble heart, fully aware of my own brokenness and the many ways that I have failed to live up to Your standards. I confess my sins to You and ask for Your forgiveness through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

I repent of my wrongdoing, and I ask for Your help in turning away from my wicked ways. I know that I can do nothing on my own, but with Your power and guidance, I am determined to live a life that is pleasing to You.

I ask that You grant me the renewing of the Holy Spirit and that You would empower me to walk in obedience to Your will and to put on the mind of Christ. By the power of Your Spirit, grant me the strength and grace to resist temptation, and to stand firm in the faith.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for Your grace and forgiveness.

I pray this in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, Amen.
