A Prayer for Marriage

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to give You thanks for the gift of marriage and the love that we share. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as we strive to honor and serve You as a couple. Help us to always put each other and our relationship with You first, even above our own desires and needs.

Lord, we pray for Your protection and strength for our marriage. Help us to weather the storms of life together, and to always turn to You for guidance and strength. Grant us patience, kindness, and understanding as we navigate the ups and downs of life together.

Help us to always speak words of love and encouragement to one another, and to work through any conflicts or challenges that may come our way with grace and humility.

We pray for the grace to forgive one another when we fail, and to always seek to show each other love and respect. May our love for each other and for You grow deeper each day, and may our marriage be a shining example of Your love to all those around us.

We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer for Psalm 91

Heavenly Father,

I come to You today asking for Your protection and guidance. I turn to Psalm 91 and the words of comfort and assurance that it brings. You are my refuge, my fortress, and my God whom I trust.

I pray that You will cover me with Your feathers and under Your wings I will find refuge. I trust in Your faithfulness to protect me from all harm and danger. I know that You will command Your angels to guard me in all my ways.

I pray that You will set me on high, above the trouble and danger that surrounds me. I will be safe in the shelter of Your tabernacle, and I will trust in the covert of Your wings. Your faithfulness will be my shield and my rampart.

I pray that You will deliver me from the sword, and from the power of the wicked. You will rescue me from the hand of the unrighteous, and from the mouth of the lion. You will set me high, above the reach of my enemies, and I will be safe in Your presence.

I thank You, God, for Your faithfulness and Your protection. I trust in Your love and Your care for me, and I rest secure in Your shelter. I pray that You will continue to guide and protect me, and that I may honor You in all that I do.

Prayer for Friend

Dear Lord,

I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude for my dear friend. I thank You for the ways that they have enriched my life and brought joy to my days.

I lift up my friend to You now, asking for Your blessings and protection. I pray that You would surround them with Your love and grace, and give them the strength, wisdom, and courage to face the challenges that come their way.

I ask that You would bless my friend with peace and joy, and help them to always trust in You and Your plan for their life. I pray that You would guide them and direct their steps, and give them the discernment to know Your will for their life.

I also pray that our friendship would be a source of encouragement and support for both of us, and that it would bring glory to Your name. I ask that You would bless our time together and use it for Your purposes.

Prayer for a Friend

Dear God,

I lift up my dear friend to You today. I ask that You would be with them and bless them in every way. May Your love, grace, and mercy surround them like a shield.

I pray that You would guide them and give them wisdom as they navigate through life’s challenges. Help them to trust in You and lean on You for strength and guidance.

I pray that You would bring people into their life who will encourage and support them. May they experience Your presence and love in a powerful way.

I pray that they would know Your peace and joy, and that they would be a light to those around them.

Healing Prayer for Sickness

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a heavy heart, feeling overwhelmed by the weight of my illness. But I know that You are the Great Healer, and that You have the power to restore me to full health.

I pray for Your healing touch to be upon me, and for Your strength to flow through my body and soul. I ask that You would give me the peace and hope that I need to endure this difficult time, and that You would wrap me in Your loving arms as I rest and recover.

I know that You are sovereign and that Your plans are always good. I pray that You would use this sickness for Your glory and for my good, and that You would give me the grace and wisdom to trust in Your will for my life.

Please also bless those who are caring for me, and give them the strength and compassion they need to support me through this journey. May Your love and presence be with me always, and may I glorify You in all things.

I pray all of this in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer for the Holy Spirit

Dear God,

We come before You today to ask for the presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a gift from You, God, given to us through Jesus. The Holy Spirit serves as our counselor, guiding us in truth and offering us comfort in times of need.

We ask that the Holy Spirit would fill us with Your love and give us the strength to follow You. Help us to be more like Jesus, and to live according to Your will.

We pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us and to use us for Your purposes. We pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, and the ability to speak in tongues.

We pray for the Holy Spirit to work in the lives of our family, friends, and loved ones, and to bring them closer to You.

We pray for the Holy Spirit to be present in our churches and in the world, bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

We pray all of this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer for the Anxious

Heavenly Father,

We come to You today seeking Your peace and guidance. We know that You are with us always and that You care deeply for us. Lord, we are feeling anxious and overwhelmed by the challenges we are facing. We ask that You would give us Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help us to trust in You.

We ask that You would give us the strength and courage to face each day with confidence, knowing that You are in control. Help us to let go of our fears and to cast our worries upon You, for You promise to sustain us.

We pray for Your wisdom and discernment, that we may make wise decisions and follow Your will for our lives. We also pray for Your protection, that You would keep us safe from harm and that You would guard our minds and hearts from negative thoughts and emotions.

We thank You for Your loving kindness and for the many blessings You have given us. We pray that You would continue to guide and direct us, and that You would use us to be a blessing to others.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Prayer for Spain

Dear God,

We lift up Spain to You today, asking for Your blessing and protection upon the people of this nation. We pray that You would guide the leaders of Spain, giving them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions that affect the country.

We pray for the churches in Spain, that they would be strong and vibrant, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to all corners of the nation. We pray for unity among believers, that they would work together in harmony to serve You and share Your love with others.

We pray for the people of Spain, that they would come to know You and experience Your love and grace. We pray that You would break down any barriers that prevent them from coming to You, and that You would draw them into a deep and meaningful relationship with You.

We pray for peace and prosperity in Spain, that the people would experience abundance and joy as they serve You and follow Your will for their lives. We pray for protection from all harm and danger, and for Your presence to be evident in every aspect of life in Spain.

We pray all of this in the powerful and loving name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Miracles

Dear God,

I come before You today with a heavy heart, seeking Your divine intervention and miraculous touch. I am in desperate need of Your help and guidance, and I trust that You are able to do far more than I could ever ask or imagine.

I pray that You would perform a miracle in my life, according to Your perfect will and purpose. I believe that You are able to heal the sick, restore broken relationships, and bring hope and joy to those who are suffering.

Even if You choose not to heal me in the way that I desire, I trust that You are sovereign and wise, and that You have a good and perfect plan for my life. I ask that You would give me the faith and strength to endure whatever challenges I may face, and that You would use my struggles to bring about Your glory and honor.

I offer up my prayers and petitions to You, knowing that You are a loving and compassionate God who hears and answers the cries of Your children.

Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. I pray all of these things in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer for Miracle Healing

Dear God,

We come before You today asking for Your healing and miracle-working power to be at work in the life of (insert person’s name). Lord, we believe that You are a God of healing and that nothing is too difficult for You.

We know that You care deeply for (person’s name) and that You have a plan and purpose for their life. We ask that You would bring physical healing to (their) body, and that You would bring emotional and spiritual healing as well.

We pray that You would give (person’s name) the strength and courage to endure this difficult time, and that You would provide for all of their needs. We pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind, and for Your hope to fill their soul.

We also lift up to You the doctors and medical professionals who are caring for (person’s name). We ask that You would give them wisdom and skill as they work, and that You would guide their hands and decisions.

Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, even if healing does not come in the way that we desire. We believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine, and that You are sovereign over all things. We place our hope in You and pray that You would work a miracle in (person’s name’s) life, whether that be through physical healing or through the comfort and peace that only You can provide.
