Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heavy heart, feeling overwhelmed by the weight of depression. I feel like I’m walking through a dark valley, and I’m struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But I know that You are the God of hope and that You can bring me out of this darkness. I lift up my eyes to You, the source of my strength and my salvation.
I pray that You would give me the peace that surpasses all understanding, that You would calm my troubled mind and soothe my weary soul. I ask that You would renew my mind with Your truth and that You would remind me of Your promises that I am never alone, and that You will never leave me or forsake me.
I remember that You are the Great Comforter and the Healer of all my wounds, and I trust in Your love and Your grace to bring me through this difficult time. I thank You for the gift of salvation and for the power of the cross that has overcome the world.
I pray that You would give me the courage to keep moving forward, one step at a time and that You would surround me with Your love and Your presence. I pray that You would give me the wisdom to know what steps to take next, and the strength to take them.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
