Prayer of Healing for a Friend

Almighty God,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear friend who is in need of healing. We acknowledge You as the Great Physician and place our trust in Your power to heal. We humbly ask You to touch our friend with Your healing hand and restore them to complete health.

We recognize that nothing is impossible for You, Lord. We ask that You remove any sickness or disease from our friend’s body and grant them the strength to fight against any illness they may be facing. We also pray for peace and comfort for them during this challenging time.

However, we also acknowledge Your sovereignty and Your goodness and understand that sometimes healing may not be Your will. We trust in Your plan and know that even if healing does not come in the way we expect, You are still working all things for the good of those who love You.

We implore You to be with our friend and their family during this trying time. We ask for Your grace, mercy, and love to surround them and bring them healing.

We give You thanks for Your faithfulness and the many ways in which You have already blessed our friend.

We pray all this in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We come to You today in need of Your healing and strength. We ask that You would touch those who are struggling with illness and give them the comfort and peace that only comes from You. We believe in Your power to heal and restore, and we trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Even if healing isn’t Your will, we trust in Your greater plan and Your goodness.
