Prayer to Forgive Sins

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today, acknowledging my own sins and asking for Your forgiveness. I confess that I have not always lived according to Your will and have fallen short of Your glory. I am truly sorry for the ways in which I have hurt You and others, and I ask for Your grace and mercy to cleanse me of my sins.

I also come to You today, asking for the strength and wisdom to forgive those who have sinned against me. I know that You have forgiven me, and I want to follow Your example of love and grace toward others. According to Your word in Ephesians 4:32, I pray that You would give me the same love and forgiveness that You have given me, so that I may extend that love and forgiveness to those who have wronged me.

Lord, I know that forgiveness is not always easy, but I trust in Your power to help me forgive as You have forgiven me. Give me the courage to let go of the past and move forward in forgiveness and love.

I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer About Sins

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today, acknowledging my sins and the ways in which I have fallen short of Your glory. I confess that I have not loved You with all my heart, nor have I loved my neighbors as myself. I have not honored You in my thoughts and actions, and I have not been faithful in following Your commands.

I humbly ask for Your forgiveness and grace, knowing that Your love is greater than all my sins. I trust in Your Son, Jesus Christ, and the sacrifice He made on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins. Through His death and resurrection, I believe that I have been made new in Your sight.

I also ask for Your help in turning from my sins and living in obedience to Your Word. I recognize that I cannot do this on my own, but with Your Spirit dwelling in me, I believe that I can overcome the power of sin and live in righteousness.

I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer to Repent

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in humility and repentance. I acknowledge my sins and the ways in which I have fallen short of Your glory. I confess that I have not always lived according to Your will and have disobeyed Your commandments.

I realize that I am in need of Your forgiveness, grace, and mercy. I humbly ask that You would wash me clean of my sins and renew my heart, so that I may walk in Your ways and live a life that is pleasing to You.

I trust in Your love and faithfulness. I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins and provide me with eternal salvation.

I pray that You would guide me in Your truth and teach me Your ways, so that I may grow in my understanding of who You are and what You require of me. I ask that You empower me through Your Holy Spirit to put to death the things of this world and live for You and Your glory.

I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, and Savior. Amen.
