Heavenly Father,
We entrust this dear soul to Your loving care. As they pass from this life, we pray that they would feel the comforting embrace of Your loving arms. We pray that they would have no fear or pain, but only know the eternal peace of being in Your presence.
We ask that You would receive them into Your kingdom and give them a place at Your right hand, where there is no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more death.
We thank You that through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, they have the hope of eternal life. We pray that You would reveal to them the fullness of Your love and grace, and that they would know the joy and assurance of being reconciled to You.
We pray that they would have a sense of Your presence with them at this moment and that they would be filled with Your peace. We ask for Your comfort and strength for all who are mourning this loss.
Merciful and Loving God, we entrust this dear soul to Your loving care, and we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with them in Your eternal kingdom.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

John 14:1-4 ESV
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
Philippians 1:21-23 ESV
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.
