Heavenly Father,
We come to You tonight in humility and faith. We ask that You would protect us as we rest, and guard our minds and hearts from all evil. We confess that we are vulnerable and in need of Your constant care and protection. We ask that You would send Your holy angels to watch over us as we sleep, and that You would surround us with Your love and grace.
We thank You for the gift of sleep and the refreshing rest it brings. We pray that You would help us to use this time to rest and renew our bodies, minds, and spirits, so that we may be refreshed and ready to serve You more fully in the days to come.
We pray for Your protection over our loved ones and all those who are dear to us. We ask that You would watch over them and keep them safe through the night. We pray that You would give them sweet and peaceful dreams, and that they would wake in the morning feeling refreshed and renewed.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
