Dear Lord,
I come to You today with a heavy heart, as I grieve the loss of a loved one. I know that You are the God of all comfort, and I trust that You will be with me during this difficult time.
I ask that You would give me the strength and the courage to face each day and that You would be my rock and my refuge. I pray that You would comfort me in my sorrow and that You would help me to find peace and hope in the midst of my pain.
I know that You are the God of all hope, and I trust that You have a plan and a purpose for my life. I pray that You would use this time of grief to draw me closer to You and that You would use my loss to bring about good in the world.
I trust in You, O Lord, and I know that You are always with me. I give You all of my grief, and I ask that You would use it to bring about Your will and Your purpose in my life.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
