This is a simplified version of the Bible story found in Matthew 15:29-31, written for children to understand. For the original version, please refer to the Bible passage.
Once Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee. He climbed a mountain and sat down. Lots of people heard that Jesus was there, so they came to see him.
The people who came were very sick or hurt. Some could not walk, some could not see, some could not talk, and some could not use their arms or legs. The people put themselves at Jesus’ feet, and he healed them! It was amazing!
The people were so happy that they saw the mute people talking, the crippled people walking, the lame people running, and the blind people seeing. The people praised God for what he did.
Biblical Lessons
- Jesus has the power to heal people who are sick or hurt.
- Jesus has compassion for those who are hurting and will help them.
- God deserves our praise and glory for the great things he does.
