A Prayer About Family

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with grateful hearts, lifting up our families to You. We ask that You bless each member of our families – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We pray that You would be the foundation upon which our families are built and that Your love would be the binding force that holds us together.

We ask for Your protection for our families, so that they may be kept safe from harm and danger. We pray that You would guide us in the way we should go, and give us wisdom in the decisions we make. We also ask for the strength to persevere through the challenges we may face.

We pray for our children, that they may grow up to know and love You, and that they may be a blessing to those around them. We pray for our parents, that they may continue to lead us in Your ways, and be blessed in their old age.

We pray for our spouses, that our love for one another may reflect the love You have for us. And we pray for all members of our families, that they may come to know Your love and peace more deeply.

We give thanks for the blessings You have bestowed upon our families, and we ask that You continue to pour out Your blessings upon us.

We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
