Prayer for Family

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for blessing us with the gift of family. Thank You for the love and support that we receive from our family members. We ask that You would continue to watch over and protect our family, keeping us safe from harm and providing for our needs.

We pray that You would give us the strength and wisdom to be the best spouses, parents, and siblings that we can be. Help us to love and support one another, and to always seek to put the needs of others before our own.

May our family be a beacon of light and hope in this world, shining Your love and truth to those around us. We pray that You would use our family to bring glory to Your name and to further Your kingdom.

We pray for unity and peace within our family, and for the strength to overcome any challenges or difficulties that may come our way.

We trust in Your unfailing love and grace, and give You all the praise and honor. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Prayer for Healing of Friend

Dear Lord,

I lift up my dear friend to You today and ask for Your healing hand to be upon them. I know that You are the great physician and that nothing is impossible for You. I believe that You can bring complete healing to their mind, body, and spirit.

Even if healing doesn’t come in the way that we expect, I pray that You would give my friend and their loved ones the strength and grace to trust in Your plan and to find peace and comfort in You. I pray that You would use this situation to draw them closer to You and to bring them into a deeper relationship with You.

I pray that Your will be done in my friend’s life, and that whatever the outcome, Your perfect plan for their healing would be accomplished.

Please be with the doctors and medical staff who are treating them. Give them wisdom and skill as they seek to bring healing.

I trust in You, Lord, and know that You are good. I give You all the praise and honor for the healing that You will bring, whether it be in this life or the next.

I pray all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
