Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heavy heart and in need of Your encouragement. I know that You are the source of all strength and the One who gives me hope. I trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even when circumstances seem difficult.
I ask that You would fill me with Your peace, as I give my worries and concerns to You. I know that You are sovereign over all things and that Your plans for me are for good.
I pray that You would give me the courage to face each day with confidence and trust in You. I ask for Your wisdom as I make decisions and for Your guidance as I navigate through life’s challenges.
I ask for Your strength as I carry out the tasks You have called me to, knowing that You will empower me to do all things through Christ. And I trust that You are working in all things for the good of those who love You.
Thank You, Lord, for Your constant presence and Your unfailing love. I trust in You and look to You for strength and encouragement.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Suggested Bible Readings
Isaiah 41:10 ESV
Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Psalm 46:1-3 ESV
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 ESV
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Psalm 34:17-19 ESV
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
