Dear God,
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus on this Christmas day, we give You thanks and praise for the great love You have shown us. We thank You for sending Your Son, the Saviour of the world, to bring us salvation and eternal life.
We pray that this Christmas season will be a time of joy and celebration for all of Your children. May the message of hope and love that Jesus brings fill our hearts and bring peace to our minds.
We pray for those who are struggling during this time, for those who are lonely or hurting. Please bring comfort and healing to those in need, and show them the light of Your love.
As we look to the new year ahead, we pray for Your guidance and protection. Help us to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, and to be a blessing to those around us.
We give You all the honor and glory, now and forever.
In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
