Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts. We thank You for this food and for the hands that prepared it. We recognize that all good things come from You and that You are the provider of all our needs.
We ask that You bless this food, making it nourishing to our bodies. In doing so, we may have the strength and energy to do Your will. We also ask that You bless those who are in need of a meal today. Provide for them as You have promised in Your Word.
We confess that we often take for granted the blessings You have given us. We ask for forgiveness for any times we have failed to give You the thanks and praise You deserve.
As we partake in this meal, we ask that it serves as a reminder of Your love and provision for us. May it also remind us to share Your love and provision with others.
We give You all the glory and honor, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
