This is a simplified version of the Bible story found in Genesis 2:7-8, written for children to understand. For the original version, please refer to the Bible passage.
Once upon a time, the Lord God made a man out of dust from the ground. He then breathed into the man’s nose and gave him the breath of life. The man came alive and became a living creature. God made a beautiful garden called Eden in the east, and he put the man he had created in the garden to take care of it.
Biblical Lessons
- God is the Creator of everything, including people and the world we live in.
- God breathed life into the first man, showing how precious life is.
- We have a responsibility to take care of God’s creation, just like the first man did in the garden.
