The Call of Abram

This is a simplified version of the Bible story found in Genesis 12:1-3, written for children to understand. For the original version, please refer to the Bible passage.

Once upon a time, there was a man named Abram. God spoke to Abram and told him to leave his home, family, and country and follow Him to a new land that God would show him.

God promised to make Abram’s name great, to bless him, and to make him the father of a great nation. God promised to bless anyone who blessed Abram, and to curse anyone who dishonored him.

God even promised that through Abram, all the families of the earth would be blessed.
