The Last Words of David – Bible Story for Kids

Once there was a man named David, a man who loved God very much and served Him with all his heart. David was a king, a warrior, and a musician. He wrote many beautiful songs and prayed to God every day. Here are what King David had to say in his final words.

King David said, “The Spirit of the Lord speaks through me. His words are on my tongue.” That means God was using King David to speak to the people.

David talked about how a good leader should rule with justice and fear of God. He said that a good leader is like the morning light, bringing light and hope to everyone. David knew that God had made a promise to him, a special promise that would last forever.

King David knew that God had promised to always be with him and to take care of him. He said, “God made an agreement with me that will last forever. He will help me and give me what I need.”

David also talked about how some people are like thorns, sharp and painful. They can hurt others, but they are also easy to get rid of. David said that if you touch them, you need to protect yourself with a spear because they can be dangerous.

This is what King David said in his last words. He wanted people to know that God is good and faithful. He also wanted them to know how important it is to be a good ruler and to follow God’s ways.
