A Nurse Prayer

Dear Lord,

I come before You today seeking Your guidance and protection as I carry out my duties as a nurse. I ask that You grant me wisdom, compassion, and patience as I care for Your precious children.

Help me to have the strength to endure the physical and emotional demands of my job. Be with me every step of the way.

Grant me the ability to see the value and worth of each person I care for. Give me the courage to speak Your truth in love to those who are suffering.

Be with my colleagues, grant us unity and respect for one another as we work together to serve our patients. Be with my patients and their families, and grant them comfort, healing, and peace.

I also pray for all those who are suffering from illness and pain. Please bring them hope and healing.

Thank You, Lord, for the privilege of being a nurse and for the opportunity to serve others in Your name. I trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. May You be glorified in all that I do.

This is my prayer in the name of Jesus, my Lord and savior. Amen.

Prayer for Nurses

Heavenly Father,

We come to You today lifting up all nurses who are dedicating their lives to serving others. We thank You for the gifts and talents You have given them, and for the compassion and care that they show toward their patients. We ask for Your protection over them as they work in often challenging and stressful environments. We pray for physical strength, emotional resilience, and a deep sense of Your presence with them as they care for the sick and the suffering.

We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they make important medical decisions and that they would be guided by Your truth and Your will. We pray that through their work, they would be a reflection of Your love and grace, bringing healing and hope to those they serve.

We also lift up their families and loved ones, asking that You would provide them with the support they need during this time. May they also feel Your presence and comfort in their own lives.

We trust in You, Lord, as the Great Physician and ask that You would be with all nurses, guiding and protecting them as they continue to serve in Your name.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
