A Prayer of Forgiveness

Heavenly Father,

I come to You in humility and repentance, acknowledging that I have sinned against You and failed to live up to Your holy standards. I ask for Your forgiveness, and I receive Your mercy and grace through Your Son, Jesus Christ. I confess that I have not loved You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I have lied, stolen, coveted, and have been guilty of all manner of sins. I have not honored You in my thoughts, words, and actions.

I ask You to cleanse me from all unrighteousness and renew a right spirit within me. I turn from my sins and commit myself to follow You and live according to Your Word. I ask that You would fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to resist temptation and to love and serve others. I ask that You would give me the strength and wisdom to overcome my sinful nature and that You would help me to grow in grace and in the knowledge of You.

I thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace, and I praise You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins and rose again. I trust in You and in the power of His blood to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I give You all the glory and honor, now and forever. Amen.

Prayer to Repent

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in humility and repentance. I acknowledge my sins and the ways in which I have fallen short of Your glory. I confess that I have not always lived according to Your will and have disobeyed Your commandments.

I trust in Your love and faithfulness. I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins and provide me with eternal salvation.

I pray that You would guide me in Your truth and teach me Your ways, so that I may grow in my understanding of who You are and what You require of me. I ask that You empower me through Your Holy Spirit to put to death the things of this world and live for You and Your glory.

I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, and Savior. Amen.

The Prayer of Salvation

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today, acknowledging my brokenness and need for a savior. I confess my sins and recognize that I have fallen short of Your glory. However, I firmly believe, with all my heart, that Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day, defeating death and the power of sin.

I sincerely repent of my sins and turn away from my old ways, pleading that You would cleanse me and make me new. I invite Jesus into my heart and life as my Lord and Savior. I desire to follow Him and obey His commands, living a life that brings honor and glory to Your name.

I am aware that I cannot do this on my own, and thus, I humbly ask for Your guidance, strength, and wisdom every day. Help me to grow in my faith and become more like Your Son, Jesus. I give thanks for the gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life in Your presence.

This is my prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord. Amen.

The Salvation Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I come to You in humility and repentance, confessing that I have sinned against You and fallen short of Your glory. I understand that my sin separates me from You and that without Your forgiveness, I cannot have eternal life with You.

But I believe, Lord God, in Your love and mercy towards me, and in the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who took upon Himself the punishment for my sins by dying on the cross. And I believe that He rose again on the third day, conquering sin and death, and offering me the gift of salvation.

So today, Lord God, I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins, past, present, and future, and to come into my heart, making me a new creation in Him. I ask You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit, to guide me in Your ways, and to empower me to live a life that is pleasing to You, and that brings glory to Your name.

I thank You, Lord God, for Your grace, for Your love, and for the gift of eternal life. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Prayer of a Sinner

Heavenly Father,

I approach Your throne of grace with a humble and contrite heart, fully aware of my sin and unworthiness. I confess that I have strayed from Your holy path and have not lived in accordance with Your will. I have sinned against You, and have not loved You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

I implore Your forgiveness, O Lord Jesus, through Your death and resurrection, which I believe to be the only means of salvation for my sins. I ask for Your grace and mercy to cleanse me of my wrongdoing, and to renew my heart. I confess that I am not worthy of Your love, yet I trust in Your promise of eternal life through faith in You.

O Holy Spirit, I humbly seek Your guidance and strength to resist temptation and to live a life that is pleasing to God. Grant me the grace to love others as You have loved me, to be kind and compassionate, to forgive others as You have forgiven me, and to be a faithful witness of Your love and truth to those around me.

I pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

The Armor of God Prayer

Almighty God,

I come before You in humility and reverence, seeking Your protection and guidance as I put on the full armor of God.

I gird myself with the belt of Truth, that I may be able to discern right from wrong and remain firmly rooted in Your Word. I put on the breastplate of righteousness, that my heart may be protected by Your righteousness and filled with Your Holy Spirit.

I put on the shoes of peace, that I may be able to bring Your message of peace to the world and walk in the path You have laid out for me. I take up the shield of faith, that I may be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one and have unshakable faith in You.

I put on the helmet of salvation, that my mind may be protected by the hope of salvation and constantly reminded of Your love and grace. And I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, that I may be able to defend myself against the enemy’s attacks and be guided by Your truth.

I pray for the strength and wisdom to put on this armor daily and use it for Your glory. This is my prayer in Jesus’ name, Amen.
