A Prayer for a Family

Dear Lord,

We come before You today to ask for Your blessings and guidance for our family. We pray for protection and strength for each member of our family, that we may all grow closer to You and to each other.

We pray for the ability to forgive and to show love and grace to one another, even in the midst of disagreements or difficult times. Help us to communicate openly and honestly with each other, and to support and encourage one another as we navigate through life’s challenges.

We pray for Your wisdom and guidance in raising our children, that they may grow to love and serve You with all their hearts. Protect them from harm and temptation, and give us the strength and patience to be the parents You have called us to be.

We ask for Your provision and blessings on our family, both financially and spiritually. May we use the resources You have given us to honor You and to bless others.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that our family would be a reflection of Your love and grace to the world around us. May we be a light for You in all that we do.

We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
