Prayer for Protection From Evil

Heavenly Father,

We come to You today seeking Your protection from evil. We know that You are a God of love and righteousness, and that Your mercy endures forever. We trust in Your promise to never leave us or forsake us, and we rest in the knowledge that You are always with us, watching over us and guiding us.

We ask that You would surround us with Your holy angels and that You would shield us from the attacks of the enemy. We pray that You would give us the strength and courage to resist temptation and to stand firm in our faith, knowing that You are always with us, even in the darkest of times.

We also ask that You would protect our loved ones, our homes, and all that we hold dear. We pray that You would watch over us and keep us safe and that You would guide us in Your ways and lead us to Your truth.

We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, knowing that You are a faithful God who always keeps Your promises.

We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Sin

Almighty God,

We come before You today confessing our sins and asking for Your forgiveness. We acknowledge that we have failed to live up to Your standards and have strayed from Your path. We have allowed evil to take root in our hearts and minds, and have acted in ways that do not glorify Your Name.

But, Lord, we know that You are merciful and loving, and that You are eager to forgive us when we turn to You in repentance. We ask that You would wash us clean of our sins and make us pure in Your sight. We renounce our old ways and commit to following You and Your commands from this day forward.

Lord, we also ask that You would protect us from the influence of evil and give us the strength to resist temptation. Help us to recognize the lies of the devil and to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Grant us the wisdom to make right decisions and the courage to stand up for what is right, even in the face of opposition.

We trust in Your promises, Lord, that “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

We give You our whole heart, our whole mind, our whole soul and our whole strength, now and forever. Amen.

Prayer for Sleep

Heavenly Father,

We come to You tonight in humility and faith. We ask that You would protect us as we rest, and guard our minds and hearts from all evil. We confess that we are vulnerable and in need of Your constant care and protection. We ask that You would send Your holy angels to watch over us as we sleep, and that You would surround us with Your love and grace.

We thank You for the gift of sleep and the refreshing rest it brings. We pray that You would help us to use this time to rest and renew our bodies, minds, and spirits, so that we may be refreshed and ready to serve You more fully in the days to come.

We pray for Your protection over our loved ones and all those who are dear to us. We ask that You would watch over them and keep them safe through the night. We pray that You would give them sweet and peaceful dreams, and that they would wake in the morning feeling refreshed and renewed.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer for the Armor of God

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today to put on the Armor of God and to ask for Your protection from evil.

I put on the Belt of Truth, that I may stand firm in Your word and reject any lies from the enemy.

I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness, that I may have a heart that is pure and holy, pleasing to You.

I put on the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace, that I may be ready to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and to make peace with those around me.

I put on the Shield of Faith, that I may be able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy and have confidence in Your promises.

I put on the Helmet of Salvation, that I may be protected in my mind and thoughts and have the assurance of eternal life in You.

I take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is Your word, that I may be able to stand against the enemy and his schemes and know the truth that sets me free.

God, I pray for Your protection and guidance as I go out into the world. I ask that You would give me the strength to stand firm in my faith, the wisdom to recognize deception, and the courage to proclaim Your truth.

I pray that Your love would shine through me and that many would come to know You through my words and actions.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen
