Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, as we have lost a beloved member of our family. Though their physical body has passed, we trust in the promise of eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
We humbly request Your comfort during this difficult time and ask that You grant us the strength and courage to face each day. We acknowledge that You are sovereign and that all things happen according to Your divine plan. Help us to trust in Your will and to find peace in Your sovereign purpose.
We give You thanks for the time we shared with our loved one and for the memories that will forever be treasured. We also give You thanks for the hope of eternal life and the promise of one day being reunited with our loved one in heaven through faith in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
