This is a simplified version of the Bible story found in 1 Kings 10:1-13, written for children to understand. For the original version, please refer to the Bible passage.
Once upon a time, there was a really wise king named Solomon. He knew so much and had so much wealth that people from all over the world heard about him. One day, the queen of Sheba heard about him too. She wanted to see if he really was as wise as people said, so she traveled a really long way to meet him.
She brought lots of valuable things with her, like gold, spices, and precious stones. When she got to Solomon, she asked him lots of really hard questions to test his knowledge. But he was so wise that he was able to answer all of her questions, and even explain things she didn’t understand before!
She was really impressed with him and everything she saw in his kingdom. She saw the amazing house he built, the delicious food he ate, and the fancy clothes his servants wore. She was so amazed that she couldn’t even catch her breath!
The queen was happy that what she heard about Solomon was true. She praised God for blessing Solomon with so much wisdom and wealth. She gave Solomon lots of valuable things as gifts, and he was really kind to her in return. Then she went back home with her servants.
